North Carolina Furniture Mart continues its strong family tradition of quality merchandise and exceptional customer service with its 3rd generation family-owner, Kristi Johnson.
In the early 1960s, Kristi's grandfather, Ike, opened his first furniture stores, Horn Brothers Furniture, in Northeast Oklahoma. His son, Bob, and daughter, Jeri, worked in these stores for several years. In 1990 they opened North Carolina Furniture Mart, located at 121st and Memorial in Bixby, Oklahoma.
Kristi spent a lot of her youth in the family's stores, learning various aspects of the furniture business. In 1996, she officially joined the family business focusing on sales, service, purchasing, and design. She worked closely with Bob and Jeri until their retirement. In 2013, Kristi and her husband, Chris, took over the family business. They continue to expand their customer base and offer custom furniture, lighting, art, outdoor living, as well as interior design consultation.
